To say goodbye...
Dear Colleagues,
After about four years of work on the Avian Influenza crisis and the establishment and management of the FAO ECTAD Unit in Bamako, I felt it was time to consider other professional opportunities.
Working with you in 23 countries of West and Central Africa has been one of the most stimulating and exciting experience of my career and I definitely left a piece of my heart in Africa.
I wish you all the best in your respective duties, and full success to the Regional Animal Health Centre in the perspective of a better prevention, surveillance and control of the priority diseases.
Dr Boubacar SECK is now in charge as regional manager ad interim, let us give him and his team, all the support to face these increased responsibilities.
As for myself , I’ll be in charge of the animal health and protection services in the department of Vaucluse, France.
My new professional address is:
frederic.poudevigne@agriculture.gouv.fr
Your sincerely,
F. Poudevigne
