UOFA/UEMOA workshop June 2008
The UOFA, which was established on October 11, 2006 in Bamako, includes the 8 most representative associations of the poultry-farming inter-profession of each of the 8 WAEMU member states. Its ambition is to meet the technical, sanitary and economic challenges to which the poultry farming sector (mainly modern poultry farming) is confronted. These first JTAs were organized so as to seek solutions to the health and economic problems identified.
The ECTAD-Bamako experts made two presentations there and actively participated in the discussions.
