Quality Assurance workshop

FAO, in collaboration with the Foreign Agricultural Service of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA / FAS), the IDENTIFY project of United States Agency for International Development (USAID), France Vétérinaire International (FVI) and Veterinary Services of Gambia will organize from 25 to 29 June 2012, a Quality Assurance workshop on "Management of laboratory equipment and basic metrology." This workshop is organized to the attention of the Directors of laboratories and laboratory quality assurance heads of national veterinaries diagnostic of the following countries: Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Uganda, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan and Tanzania. This workshop is a continuation of the Quality Assurance roadmap endorsed by the RESOLAB members and implemented for three years. It will aim to improve participants’ ability to implement a management equipment that meets the requirements of ISO 17025 (§ 5.5 & 5.6).
